Gnarly Dancer 42, I'm very impressed with anyone with the ability to hippie jump. I've tried several times before i figured out that it's literally impossible for me to land them...

I'll never know the hippie way of life.. Sad

Gnarly Dancer 42, Don't think it's your technique so much as your setup. The rope looks like it swings up and catches your feet most of the attempts in the video. Maybe try setting up something more solid that won't move around if the board or water tags it. You're damn close on a couple of attempts too.

Kinda assuming this has already been landed now that I think about it, still out of the loop have yet to see this fun boots!

Gnarly Dancer 42, i made a hippie jump, and it helps to do a hippie shuv instead of a hippie ollie. i boarded like 4 in a row the first time i went out. haven't skated much since.
also, i just tried shuving/ollying sp? out in the flats and sucking my feet up a lot. that helped some.

p.s. i made mine out of 1" pvc pipes. if i clip the pipe, it just detaches from the L bracket, no harm done to it, or me. Smile
