DVX100A - 268HRS

The Bad - The mic got wet filming a little wakeskate sesh and now it doesn't work. I never got around to sending it in or getting an estimate to see how much it would be to fix. I filmed with it a lot after it happened and the rest of the camera is completely functional. (Not Professionally tested.)

I have a DVX100B now, so that's why I never got around to fixing this one.

It comes with Battery, Charger, Lens Cap, Etc.

Never been used for capture, always used panny tapes and it's had a UV filter on it since the day I got it.

These are quick shots with my phone, I can take better ones upon request.

It's the one on the left.

I don't even know where to begin on a price because I don't know how much the repair will be. So I'm just gonna ask a little less than half of what I paid for it. $700. Goes on ebay when I get back from vacation.

Everyone, this camera films on regular MiniDV.

The DVX is known for being the first pro consumer camera to film true 24p to get that movie-like look. And the first camera under $25,000 to film 24p.

so did u try using a mic with one of the plug ins? would an external mic work then? or have you tried that before? Sounds like a great deal!

Yeah I guess I forgot to mention that I tried that and it didn't work, so that leads me to think it's just a short in the circuitry. If I clap or if someone yells, it spikes real quick so it picks up high pitch audio, but I'm no audio expert.
