working on a rail and its getting closer..
24' long
12" tall
transport-able, modify-able..

i have had the design in mind for a while. the rails i have seen built seem over built..
this design comes from years of ramp building and creative thinking..
but any ways..

i was afraid this was going to come up but better to be adressed now..

here is how it goes.. (i typed it quick)_
*post go in the water, sections are screwed to posts..

find water, 4-5' deep or up to 8'.. two scrap 2x4's (tall ones 12') run a sting line.. 25' long at 12"s out of water or any height..
(use a srting level)
put one 2x6 into the water/grond till it stopps..cut it off at 12"
8' feet away put in your next post (note they must be cross brased as well.. firts one in the front and each side.)
now that you have two post in the water braced and level. put the first section in (it will screw right to the posts.)
1 section in..
8' down the line you have your 3rd post.. (cross braced) so now you can put up the middle section..
8' down drive in your last post, brace front, cross brace and put on the last section.
now you put on the trex..
screw down trex..

(i have two peices 12' long. one seem..)
then if you want to add the incline, unscrew the last 8' feet trex on eitor end that you want it..and put in the lip.. re screw back down..)

okay.. it is screwed to your uprights as well as together.. the trex does not necacarly hold it together but will keep it stronger..

if i could draw it out i would.. its pretty basic but hard to explain.. should go up in an hour (maybe a lil more)

we may put it up this weekend @ Koppert Lake for a test run.. i will keep you posted and take photos of the process, so questions can be answerd,... no further coments.. Smile

shred..

the "ramp.." is an added option.

it is a flat rail with the option of well.. lots of things.. adding on, ramping up.. add on a rainbow cap.. and turn it into a rainbow rail.. (options..)
like an LX..power windows..

its like a fin on a sports car.. it makes it go fast..

someone has some skateboard ramp building skills, that thing would be fun for some puddle skating.
