making a portable rail

ok...so i plan on getting some trex and a few floating barrels and i want to make a rail that is decent length but portable cuz id have to take it outta the water and back to my house ( i dont live lakefront, just across the street and have water access and a dock). anybody have any ideas for somethign that could be easily pieced together or something?

Just see what you have available. You can lift a pretty good sized deck with just a few people. Maybe make whatever you use to float it removable to take off weight when you try to move it.
