billy, does putting your foot on the end of the pre kick really make a big difference?

i keep mine in that pocket, i feel freaked out with my foot on the very tail hha

bob., get that foot on the tail man! dont be uncomfy but push it as far back as you can, it really does help you.

i havent gotten filmed in forever, ill try and get someone to come out one day....TAD??????? ive been landing them every set and mostly first try as of late, its been nice, the best ive ever done!

i rode a tnt today and couldnt find were to put my foot to get a good flip, i didnt land one, i almost landed a vflip on it tho, but its key to find that sweet spot on your own board. youll find it and it will form your confidence on the flip and focus on sticking it. i have tiny horizontal lines on my grip, 3or4 lines about 4inches apart. i use these to mark my sweet spots on tricks from three shuvs, and my footing is a different from inside out to flats, to kickflips.

BillyOLDS, i put my foot as far at the end of the tail as i can, i feel like there isnt enough room for my feet and its going to fall off though

ive tried flickking the crap out of them, it just ends up rotating all weird

bob., i always keep mine in the pocket too.

BillyOLDS, so somewhat have your backfoot positioned like a skateboard stance? a little even hanging off? or as far back without hanging any foot off?

i've noticed that when nick does kickflips/flip tricks his foot is like right up by the pre kicks

is that the best way to do flip tricks on integs? everytime i tried them i would put my front foot about halfway on the board so i'd be on that spot of the board with no griptape. i think that might be part of my problem

the end of last year i landed 3 kickys on my integ inside out

i kept my foot in a normal riding position almost, right before the pocket on the front, back foot on the very edge. more of a flick back and out instead of down.

only been out two times this season and so far no luck with them again Crying or Very sad

Gnarly Dancer 42, when i do mine on the integ, i have my foot really close to the middle, half on the spot with no grip. However, Nick's kickflips are gorgeous, so you should probably try both, whatever floats your boat.

The Kid, yeah i'll try both ways

putting my foot on the spot with no grip felt really weird so i thought that might have something to do with it, but i guess not

kind of slant your front foot a little that should keep it straight. and of course its an integrity so pop the shizzle out of it. thats what they do

I have the bamboo TNT, and what i finally learned by the time i landed 2 kickys in a row..

everything you pop i/o requires a progressive edge, including kickys. (i haven't landed one in the flats yet) but either way, progressive edge, flatten off 2 or 3 feet away from wake, or in the flats, stay flattened off for a secord or so, pop, making sure you have your back foot back pretty far on the tail, and with your front foot you want to have equal forces of kicking down and flicking forward, so you dont judo kick the board into the water, or land and the board be 2 miles in front of you.
Hope that helps, bro.

Gnarly Dancer 42, I'm at the factory right now. I'll have to check where you're at in the line-up, but I might be building your skate tomorrow Cool
