DVS Shoe company sent us the Dresden Mesh shoes to take for a test drive. Lightweight, functional and usable for other activities basically sums up the DVS Dresden's Mesh in one simple statement.

Damn! Those green and yellow ones are perhaps the best looking shoe I've ever seen. Something inside me just wants to quack out loud. National title here we come!

Dave, the only thing I can complain about the Dresden Mesh is the lack of heel support.
I have no problem while riding, but when walking it's almost like I'm wearing high heels... I guess it's because of the narrow heel sole area. Is it just me? Rolling Eyes

Pat, what team do you support? The Brazilian soccer team? Laughing Laughing
Hahaha, I hate those colors because, here in Europe, everybody wears this "green & yellow" scheme this summer (shoes, shirts, hats, etc.).

If I wore the green and yellows, everybody at my school would wear them cause they are John Deere colors, and I would sell mine. A fad I particularly hate..seeing as none of the people I know who wear the stuff have done anything remotely related to farming besides mowing their surburban lawns. [/rant]

Morphine,

John Deere, WTF! Two questions:

1. Do you condone inbreeding?
2. Is Parky related to you?

seven11dmd, but do you know for sure?

my brother has a pair of byerlys, i have dresden mesh. ive held both. the difference is negligible. when youre in the water, you probably wouldnt even be able to tell the difference even if its as much as a few ounces. they are both light, the difference boils down to personal preference.

The byerlys are lighter, but it is a rediculous difference, not enough to make a difference I think

I just bought a pair of Dresden Mesh's. They feel pretty awesome just as shoes. I was wearing them without socks. Its a trip to feel all the ventalation through the mesh. These would def be a shiznackle skate shoe. you'd tear a hole in the mesh and have skin exposed in about a hour.

I cant wait to try them out in the water... I bought the black/Red shoe... I bet the white laces and the white sole will look alge green after about two days of riding in the dirty delta water. Laughing

eyeareque, i dunno about the white laces...i put black ones on. the sole on my shoes is still white. they still look perfectly clean after a month of usage on the delta (2-3 sets at least once per week).
