so when i ordered my rope they shipped me it in 2 sections, a 600 ft length and a 200 ft length.

I am retarded when it comes to knots so if someone could tell me how to tie them together or give me a name of a knot so I can Google it that would help me out a lot.

Also what is the easiest way to tie the rope to the spool?

(I feel retarded to have to ask these questions.)

LFArmada, yes splicing is the hard way but it looks really good, a square knot like JeffKnox wrote, is easy, hold and also good

to add to what headhuntermx4, said i have repelled using the bowlin, i am fat 200 lbs and it held me just fine dropping down a 30 ft cliff with no harnass. I am an eagle scout, so i would go with that in my somewhat professional opinion, plus it is easier to get right than a square knot
