why do i suck...shovits and ollie spins

Ok i suck and yeah i suck and last weekend i tried some 180 shuvs and the board would land behind me or i wouldnt spin it enough or i would just suck and i couldnt ever land shite... and then i tried to do some ollie 180 frontside spins and i wrecked so hard, my friend said i got almost around but i guess not enough....i realize i didnt give a lot of info and i suck but any tips?

Relax and have fun! Don't just try things over and over. Think about what you are doing. Think about what happened on your last attempt and what you can do to correct that.

I find that sometimes I just go through the motions and feel like I suck because I can't do something. But other times when I use my brain a little, I can work through a rough spot in a few attempts.

If you were more specific, you could probably get exact answers on what you need to do, but for now, just think about what you are doing and figure out what you need to do to get to where you want to be.

And just in case you have an doubts, this post is not sarcasm. I am being serious.

alright so i tried many a time today to land a 180 shuv and had many a good wipe outs... I have been doing them off the wake because i dunno if i can get enough pop off the surface, so anyways i go TS into the wake and ollie and then kick my back foot forward and pull my front back and the board will usually spin below me and sometimes ive caught it in the shin which hurts. But the times when i come close and like land on the board my feet are nearly next to each other and land on the back end of the board where i ride for like a second but then i crash....soo in turn maybe ive "landed" but for the most part i just dont know what im doing since i dont skatebaord and i dont have any friends to wakeskate with to help me. so when i do land my feet are next to each other or some other wrong place, its like after kciking the board i cant get my feet back to the right position in time.

it sounds like ur tryign a frontside shuv because " i go TS into the wake and ollie and then kick my back foot forward and pull my front back and the board" so id try backside kicking ur back foot backwards and just catching the board with ur front foot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and in teh flats are easyer

thanks for telling me to spin it the other way, pulling my back foot back and spinning it that way was a lot easier and i finally landed a few and that made me happy...i tried to do some off the wake but they got away from me and then the board would like ream me in the nuts...haha.

errybody in this place cant land stuff everytime, no one is perfect, just keep on trying and u will land it eventually
