I prefer a drysuit. I don't have to change out of wet clothes, dry off and then put dry clothes on. It's alot easier for me

HAHA! That's funny! If you have a good enough dry suite that doesn't leak at all, you really could do that. You would probably sweat alot in the suite though.

it doesnt get that cold in texas during winter (50F) but if im gunna spend some $$$ to get something to keep me warm i want to get the one that will work best. i think s dry suit would b best cuz you stay mostly dry instead of all wet. and wetsuits dont really keep you warm. it just stays cold. especially when you come out

a dry suit doesn't let water through to ur skin, a wetsuit is skin-tight and soaks up water Crazy Eyes

and then isn't a wet suit supposed to keep some water in and then your body temp warms up the water and then it keeps you warm?

most drysuits will leak a tiny bit, but it's not enough to worry about. A wetsuit uses your body heat to keep you warm

Drysuits are warm BUT heavy, uncomfortable, expensive and they stink after 2-3 days...

neither one of my drysuits stink(in fact wetsuits stink cause they hold water for so long). there more comfy then a wetsuit and worth the money. If a couple of pounds on your body is an issue then you have issues. thats just like saying a heavier wakeboard is hindering your abilities, it's not, it's you. the only issue whith drysuits is mobility, and since I'm not pro, I don't need to be that mobile when it's real cold Twisted Evil

Paul, i think you might be doin somethin wrong becuase mine never smelled and i had it for a long time, its not like a wetsuit you dont want to pee in it to be warmer Laughing Laughing

Alliance mag a few months ago was dissing on the wearing of a full body wetsuit under a pair of shorts- I think it's the coolest "fashion statement" to ever hit the water.
