When do you guys usually quit for the winter, or do you just ride year-long with wetsuits or something?

Yeah, I live in Alabama, so it's still pretty warm here, too, but it gets pretty damn cold in the winter. I posted the message because we're having our first cold night up here (that feels weird calling Birmingham "up here;" I live in the frickin' Deep South and I'm sounding like I'm from Canada or something).

Year round, but I'll probably skateboard a little more. I think I might go snowboard for a few days this year too.

That's wierd, somebody changed the words in my post!! I guess you aren't allowed to say the "p-word" on this forum, you have to say "whimp" instead. Oh well, that's cool anyway; it doesn't really matter.

yea i would still be going out but my dad alrady winterized our boat like 2 weeks ago. i will have one more time in nov. when i go out w/ jake in nov. to break his dads record.

Michael Manzer,
it will be kind of hard to go out this winter if the lake freezes over again Very Happy

I went to the lake today. Water: 10° celsius (= 50° Fahrenheit).
Booo..!
But the cool thing is that it was raining: all those small water drops falling on an ultra-glassy lake..! That's so sweet while riding.
