May I present to you.. Sir Winchton Churchill.

Since these were taken I've added wheels because this thing is a BEAST to move around. Boxy fame so it can sit on the beach (hopefully) without too much holding it down. I need to re-gear for more speed, but seems to work well!

my winches from 2004 to 2009:

2004

2007

2009

in 2004 i started building my 1st with a 13hp engine and normal clutch, chanced to a 6.5 and a tav with the same frame

I sold a few of the 2007 model but the frame is too expensive to have made (stainless steel and it is smaller at the top than the buttom)

just finished the last one, the next one is gonna have tha aluminium plates in the frame not on, so you can still see the frame

This is my winch, after the well know design.

We call it, The Winchenator! This winter we will probably build a winchenator 2.0

what we did to make our spool releasing, we can move the sprocket by removing this bolt in our axle. thereby our spool can rotate freely.

ride5, gen 1,2 and 3 are works of art. Can't wait to see what the fourth has in store. Shocked Crazy Eyes

And yes, lucky, just as you say.

it is the brake actually

when i get my money from my last winch i will build one with one for the throttle as well (and a 9hp engine and a tav 40 (so a wont need a releasing spool))

i got it from a compagny that manufactures these machines to deblock sewages:

i dont remember the brand but i remeber it was german, it is used for the throttle, the cable is very thick so control will be no issue i suppose

they cost about 100 usd........
