is it possible to use a lawnmower engine as the engine for a winch??? Since it spins the blades on the bottom i think its set up differently than a normal engine. Has anyone ever used a lawnmower engine as their winch engine??

This is the VERY ESSENCE of wakeskating....right here!!!

This is what I love about wakeskating. Rhetto Resourcefulness! Go Cart engines, lawnmover engines, etc... that is why wakeskating is so rad.

I will be the first to admit that I've looked at both my lawnmover and my scooter the same way. I even stole a shopping cart from Kroger to use as a frame.

Rhetto Resourcefulness!!!!!!!

Bonis69, its 6.5hp. I think it would have to be built differently because the place you'd but the axel is on the bottom not the side.

we found another engine to use so we didnt have to deal with the problems of the vertical shaft. We found a 5.5 hp with horizontal shaft. Were gonna go with that instead.
