Importin Problem

Windwos movie make does not recognize my camera is in. I dont have firewire on my computer but i have a usb cable and port and it still doesnt recognize its there, what do i do??

camera is a Sony dcrhc48

USB should still work............what is windows saying?.........what kind of camera is it?............if its a DVD camcorder ive seen many do not connect unless you upload whatever program they come with

a lot of camera's require you to install whatever software is included, like mr. Blond said. Also.

Get a firewire.
