im fairly new at this, first winch build and wondering what model i need for a 6.5 honda engine? does anyone out there have one that will fit and want to sell????? lemme know |

JeffKnox, hey jeff.... it was a looooooooooooong time in the works, but my winch is finally RE-DONE, and it's sooooo sick. whole new frame idea and all. i'll post pics soon, and next weekend i'm taking it out to skate with coricluster |

JeffKnox, yessir!! today i'm gonna "test" the deep water start capabilities. and even though my spool only has 1000' of line on it, it can fully hold 2000' if i wanted it it's sick bro |

jeffknox where on northern tool do i find the axle for the spool? i cant seem to find the correct one, i blive i wanna use 1 inch axle....please help |

NO!! cut the ends off, cause it mounts on pillow blocks. it just slides thru them, then they are bolted to the frame, then cut off the excess on the OUTSIDE ends, (that stick out past your frame) here are the pillow blocks

make sure you buy 1"dia axle, and 1"dia pillow blocks.... see link |

coricluster, the ends that you cut off have the threads... they aren't needed for this application. |
