sprocket to axel

im very newbish to winchin and i was wondering how you connect the sprocket to the spool axel?

at northerntool or go cart supply places they sell "sprocket hubs" that uses set screws to attach to the axle

Shore Drive, set screws really isnt enough to hold it... unless if you drill into the shaft alittle... i would get self tapping screws and drill into the shaft about half way and screw those babies in.... or just use a keyed axle

yeah, mine has been holding fine, my hub has a place for 2 set screws, haven't had any issues yet. I agree about tapping into the axle though, safety first . Lep, your so on point with these winches..... Very Happy
