New Hyperlite 2005

Hey does anyone know what kind of designs or plans hyperlite is planning for 2005, brian grubb is quoted saying something like "the boards for 2005 are gonna be mindblowing" or something to that extent, i wanted to know if anyone knew of any rumors about the new boards, and also if there is any difference between the 2003 hyperlite catalysts and the 2004 catalysts besides the graphics

im not sure about the 05' stuff. i think the only diff. on the 03-04 is the stepdown rail.correct if im wrong. i havent seen any 03's with it.

i talked with byerly at the boat show and he said the gate was going to be pretty different. and that his pro board and grubbs were going to be different shapes, not just same shape in different sizes. he also said he has some fins coming out that will be for doing nose slides and that such and won't break if your not perfectly aligned like you have to be for the cassette fins.

i can guess there either going to blow off the gate or make it better.... there probably going to change the shape of the byerly/catalyst

he explained it to me, but i didn't really understand. but from what i understood(again which wasn't much) it seemed like it was going to be just like a fin that was curved or something like that. not like 2 seperate fins.

David, you mean like the curved fins on Trips? The 2 outside ones on Trips and Teams are curved.

I hear from a lot of people from OWC and im preety sure its true but the gate is gonna be Brandon Thomas pro model and the shape of the catalyst/Byerly are going to the diffrent and there thinking about making the gate "Brandon`s soon to be pro model" a smaller size.

i've pretty much told you everything i have heard. i tried to draw a picture to make more since. but don't quote me on this cause i don't want to be that start of some stupid rumors or anything. but here ya go.....
