i have a bunch of squared metal (maybe aluminum?) its like 1 inch by 1 inch, would it be strong enough for a frame? and if so i'd have my frame payed for, so whats the lowest cost options for a full operating winch. i probably wouldnt use a cvt and i would want like 300-500 ft of rope

i wouldnt use it, it looks like a high strung racing car engine, 6.5 seems to be the limits for use with a CC, I run a 5hp with a CC and its way underpowered.

you could get a much better winch engine for much cheaper... most people use either briggs and stratton or honda 6.5 hp

but my favorite is the suburu 7 horse Wink
