LF, true, something im prob gonna be worried about, i have a place where the side of the canal is basiclly hidden under this big ass tree, unless you were looking for a rail overthere i dont think you world see it.

mojo, I used one inch poles and it seemed to be plenty sturdy

good deal. i just talked to my friend with a farm and finalized the plans to put in the 16', 4 fiberon wide box in his pond. i've had the damn thing sitting in my drive way forever. probably do a 1" piped flat later this summer.

we always hid mine up on an island covered by brush..someone found it and stole it, or twra took it. Neutral

I did an incline this way, I just angled the poles a little. Worked great and it was really sturdy.

Got the stuff to put this together last night. Im doing a 16ft version using 8ft boards/verandah and five 3/4" poles. Hopefully Ill be able to get it out to the lake this weekend and Ill give an update and hopefully some pictures.

Never made it to the lake... Ill hopefully get there sometime this week and for sure this weekend. I hate this time of the year, starting to really cool down Crying or Very sad . Summers almost over.

But if it comes down to it, Im gonna have to break into the neighbors pond and fire up the four-wheeler, lol.
