I was thinking about what tricks I should put in my sponsor me video, do they like going big like w2w, technical shuv-its body varials etc, or like lipslides with shuvs or rails and rails. I suppose they like everything but I know certain companies dig more stuff than others, holla back if you have had experince doing this. THANX

Sponsor's love ole surface spins. So do a bunch of those and you'll have your own pro model in no time.

Definetly ole surface spins Wink

Lines, variety and consistency. Being able to link difficult/stylish tricks together in runs will have the sponsors come running.

I totally agree with dankskate. Make sure you're really consistent on them, make a vid, and then send it off to Cassette - Attn: Myles Vickers.

Also, be sure you're really good at the wake to wake stuff. Has anybody landed a fashion air yet on a 'skate?

More than just the tricks, think sponsors also look for personality, character etc... someone that would fit in with the team.... might be worth adding a couple of things on stuff about you... sure that would differentiate you from the numerous superb wakeskaters out there....
But hey, what do i know.. i'm not sponsored.. haha....just some thoughts i gathered.... Laughing

Good luck buddy....

wouldnt it be so much cooler if you got sponcerd without a video? go to contests and let them come to you, dont worry about it man, wakeskating is for fun, going out and having a good time, as soon as you get sponcerd and wanna be the best, thats when it becomes a job, and your all freaking out about this pro doing this and now you gotta step it up and crap, trust me i know. but every kid in the world is trying to get sponcerd, its not that great, trust me... say you ride for kampus, but you love your 4-trac, because the concave and pop and everythings perfect but you can never ride that board agian, and your sponcer puts you on a few kampus decks and you hate all of them and they feel gay, your screwed. dude just love the freedom of riding for yourself because you'll lose all the fun. but if you really wanna be sponcerd, be diffrant and dont send in a video, just go to pro tour and qualify top 20. and you got it. or enter alot of comps in your area. keep riding and have fun it will happen

ryan lemons, I live in Minnesota and there are no wakeskaters in my whole county let alone any competitions, it is not that havent thought about competiting in events, there are none and I really have a limited budget as far as travel wise, so driving to Pro Tour Stops in Florida Portland, and Detriot seem a little far away, thats why i was asking a seroius questions about videos because I highly doubt there will be any competotions in my area to get my name out there i love riding and i love wakeskating for the sport and not just for all the buzz and stuff someone may be able to get i have fun every time i step on a wakeskate and that will never change no matter what.

yea but dont let where you live get you down, steve schoenhals lives in michigan and he said its still snowing there right now, and hes one of the best wakeskaters in the world. and hardly ever gets to ride because of frozen lakes. he enterd a protour stop and now rides for LF and is going to have a mind blowing part in relentless. but if you want to send in a video, be creative and dont do anything thats ever been done before, just think, if you do thomas horrells part in snap, like every trick, yea thats good, but that was also 2 years ago, try to progress way past that, you really gotta push it man...

well i said something yesterday but i guess its gone. But ill some it up quick. Parky dont sell me stuff so u can write one more name under your list. YOu change your mind about stuff way to often an im beginning to think all you care about is the sponsors wich is not the way to be at all. Talkng is one thing but riding speaks to peopl on a whole nother level.
