That looks like the same motor on the first grinches, I'd say yes. Somebody else back me up though. Kyle? Jeff?

Yeah, Kyle uses that motor.. his is actually the electric start one but same thing, haha. Throw a TAV2 on there and it will get the job done. Briggs makes some good stuff.

Where can i find the electric start one? and i should run at #35 chain correct. And on the tav2 the 10 or 12 tooth?

you dont need the electric start... were only using that one cause they messed up and to make it right they gave us the electric for the price of the regular.. use #35 its easier to find parts like sprockets and clutches... and the tav2 you can use either the 10 or 12... i use the 12... you should be happy with that engine... you could also go with the suburu 7 horse... i use that one as well it works wonders

raven,, yuup your right they use to use they briggs 6.5 but now they use the suburu 7 horse

Well i might have to go with the suburu cuz i have a habor freight near my house and i thin they carry them but im gonna pice out shipping and everything.
