OK i noticed you have a trick tip on big spins and before i go on i want you to know im not up to date on wake skate tricks so i dunno if they have changed it from skating to wakeskating.

But a Big spin in skating is a 360 flip with a body varial in the same direction. In your description you said it was a 360 shuv it with a body varial. This would mean its a 360 shuv it with a body varial.

Now as i said before im not up to date on wakeskating tricks so i could be wrong, all i know that in skating a big spin is 360 flip with a body vairial in the same direction.

Ok then even if it was that, you cant nollie on a wakeskate so it would be wrong still wouldnt it?

And after a little bit of research i have found that theres to sorts of big spin, Big spin FLip (the one i was talking about) and a big spin ( the one you described).

And simon if u did the trick how u described it it would b a nollie big spin.

So what are you guys suggesting that the trick in the trick tip should be called? It was sent in as a "Bigspin" so I left it as it was.

I haven't seen the latest WBM, but hear that there is a sequence of Reed doing a BS Bigspin (or is it?). What did they call it in there? Not that it matters because they still get frontside and backside confused.....I was just curious.

My friend who rides at the skateboard park, got a few skateboarding sponsors, and he was sticking 360 shuvits and backside ollie 180's on the wakeskate, he was like, I want to stick a TRUE big spin, like Daniel Lovett's in Metronome (and now Aaron Reed) As in BS 360 shuvit with a backside body varial. So I dunno...

Edit:
A majority of the skateboarding trick tips sites I've seen, when telling me how to do a big spin, says to do a backside 180 varial with a 360 bs shuvit...

Yeah, a big spin is a 180 body varial in the same direction that you are spinning a 360 shuvit, and I am pretty sure that it is done mostly backside, but you can do it either way.

I was always told that a big spin is a 360 flip with a body varial in the same direction (either b/s or f/s doesnt matter). I saw this in a skate mag aswell. I have a vid of rodney doing a finger flip big spin but i cant post that cause its to big. I can give you the ling if you want it.

k your all stupid, a big spin is a 360 shuv it with a body varial the same way you are spinning it. A big spin flip is when the board flips too Fredrick_Eisenhauer, and to the person who said it had to be out of nollie, you are wrong. Its a trick and you can do it from any where switch, nollie, fakie, regular. That would be like saying that a kickflip had to be out of regular.

it doesnt really matter becuase in wakeskating a bigspin is a 360 shovit and your body does a 180 and you probably wont change that, this might sound assholeish but just let it goo
