I want to plan a trip to a cable park this year. Which park would be the most fun (for a wakeskater), where I could get in the most amount of riding? I've never rode cable before.

Never been to TSR, been to Rixen and OWC many a times. I think I might be in KC June 8/9th, I'm def. hitting up the park there.. When are you planning your trip.. I'm gonna call Zak to see if he wants to come out those dates he's always down for a cable trip Smile

Brett Leadley, Not sure yet, but Zak mentioned setting up a trip for a bunch of skaters to meet up and ride the cable somewhere. that would be sick.

Winch park.... mmmmm

Chris Barcellos, Keaton said he is going to try to make it out sometime this summer also. All of our structures are wakeskate friendly... and in fact, we worked on the winch park a little today... PM me for more info.

KC is the best by far. Of all the cable parks I've been to (Montreal, OWC, and Rixen) it is the best.

Super long cable. Easy swim to shore. No line ups. Cool people. Good rails. AWESOME Cows for eating after riding, etc....

If all you want to do is get good at wakeskating and eat Delicious Cow flesh, then KC all the way!!!

yeah i would probably say go to KCW, especially in the middle of summer, TSR will be really crowded with summer camp and stuff. the only thing i dont like about KC is the speed. i'll be up there the first weekend in august, and maybe once before then too. lemme know if you guys plan anything (chris/keaton).

just got back from KC Watersports, fun cable with tons of obstacles but they only run the speed at 18mph! It was so slow, but other than that it was money. And the winch park was so much fun! I spent more time winchin then riding cable. Also checked out the brand new Oklahoma City Park perfect speed, but no island or obstacles as of yet. TSR is still the best!!!

early mornings during the week and there is a really good empty session around noon. Night sessions are usually less crowded as well.
