That kickflips are so damn hard? There like evil! There curesed I tell you. When Rodney invented them he put some ancient voodoo curse on them and made them evil. But seriously why are they so damn hard? Been skating for about a year and a half and still havn't got them consistant. I nearly cry myself to sleep at night because there so damn frusterating. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Fredrick_Eisenhauer, I feel your pain. They are so basic, yet so technical. I guess some people just have the feel for them and others have to work harder. But the good thing is that practice makes perfect. If you keep working at it, they will become second nature. Just really concentrate on your technique and realize what works the best for you. Then do that same thing every time. Don't get lazy on it or you will develop bad habbits that are hard to break. |

Yeah they are llama'd! I mean when you think about it, kick the board and it flips and stomp it but there so llama'd. I used to be able to do them pretty good, but did other tricks like fingerflips and just lost them. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

try video taping yourself, and then evaluating your movements later, you can look at everything you're doing wrong by doing this, it helps me when i'm trying something new or something thta i cant get. _________________

To learn flip tricks like kickflips or whatever I just commit myself to hanging around trying it for hours, and have a snack or drink around so I can sit down when I get frustrated/tired. Just keep at it, that stuff is frustrating. _________________

i usualy say like, "ok i'm going to try to get my heelflip down pat today, nothing else, no ollieing decks or shizzle, just heelflips." then i just end up trying bigger ollies cause thats like my only consistant thing other than manuals, haha so i just got to commit myself to practice one thing at a time. _________________

The reason they are so hard is because they wouldn't be cool if they were easy. |
