What do you think is the best helmet?
I like the Capix Pointless helmet, looks cool.
Also do you need a helmet at OWC? |

I wear the Pro-Tec one. Its good. I like the way the capix looks and all. But its not as safe as others, from what I have seen. |

If you want to hit rails at odub yes you need a hemlet. Even if you dont want to hit rails bring it anyways because you will change your mind. Also, the capix helmets are nice! I got a black one , its very comfortable. |

If you go protec just go the old style skate ones, not the wakeboarding one. The old ones were more comfortable and stayed on your head better, and drys out almost as fast, Its not quite as safe but still plenty safe for just hittin rails _________________ ow thats gonna hurt tomorrow |

the only difference between the protec skate helmet and wakeboard helmet is the liner. The shells are the same thing. The skate helmets have foam to absorb sweet when you skate. Takes long to dry. The wakeboard helmet has a non foam liner so it drys faster. |

Last year I just bought a pro tec skate helmet because if you want to hit rails in the comps up here (I was wakeboarding) you have to wear a helmet. Anyway, when I wore it, I looked....special. Wait, I mean dope, I looked dope... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
