Yo, I want to hit that shizzle up this week. How crowded is it usually, because its a good drive from down here I think.

It can get crowded if you go during the weekend. The best days to go are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday forsure. If you go around 12 you could literally be the only person there. It is a little hurtin right now though, they are redoing one of the rails and I'm not sure if it is back in yet. It is a trek from the Keys, there is no doubt about that. A few hours atleast.

yeah danny, tues, wed, or thurs is the best, i try to head out there at 12 but on tues and thurs i go at around 3 and it is still normally empty, during the week, most kids are in school so i dont know, its fun though, ghetto compared to odub but fun none the less

Rixen is in South Florida, Deerfield Beach.

Rixen has no wakeskating pics. I wakeskate there everyday, and I don't ride with anyone that can do anything on a skate. Ty Benfield stopped riding there, and so did Brandon Thomas, so now the only wakeskaters are some kid who wears Teva sandals to ride a gate Crazy Eyes

but he can throw 360 shuvits, and a weird butter kind of bigspin. When I land an Indy Superman and the shuvit off the kicker I'll post pics.

Rob, thats because alot of the regulars stopped going to Rixen. There used to be alot of awsome wakeskaters, but they all stopped riding there, alot of people (regulars) stopped going to Rixen.

Most everyone that used to wakeskate at rixen rides boat on osborne now. Or c-51, banyan or okeeheelee.

yea, everyone i know stopped riding at ski rixen. but i think they finished the new rail.
if youre coming up from the keys its right off the exit, though. from south of big pine (cudjoe key) it's 3 or 4 hours, from marathon id say 3, from islamorada like 2- 2 1/5.
and why do you have to be german and hate watersports to work the cable there?

satori- you dont have to be german to work there. Half all the old school Rixen workers werent german, plus not all of them are.

Yo, that lady in the shop told me I had to go around once on a kneeboard because I said it was my first time there. I never laughed so hard at someone in my life that's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

Brett, ya they tell people that so they can get used to the corners. Its stupid, you can learn to get around the corners on a wakeboard just the same.
