IMO you might as well plan for a wider spool.
Good Luck |

CrzyTexan, that is the dimensions of my spool size... it will work fine but just fyi we used very thin line so we were able to fit 1000 ft of line onto the spool... if you are planning on using a bigger line you might want to make your spool a bit wider... you can use the spool calculator to be sure _________________ Nothin better than Wakeskating and Motocross!

so what demensions would be good to hold 1,000+ feet of straightline rope? The spool is the only thing that is always throwing me off. |

your spool set up should be fine... spool calc says 1600 feet... that should leave you plenty of room... you really dont need anything more than 1000 feet... i have 750 on my winch and it takes forever to wind all that line out... very rarely do i use all 750... usually only at the beach... _________________ Nothin better than Wakeskating and Motocross!

CrzyTexan, You don't need the centrifugal clutch if your using the Tav2, you need to do one or the other...
Your best bet would be the tav2 though out of the two. _________________ arson-wake.com |
