Hey all we just got a killer video from our newest member. We decided that we are going to hold a best video contest. Not sure what the rules are yet but wanted to let you know in advance so you can start your video work.

what kind of video like a trick or a mini movie? Also maybe you shoudl wait till the summer so more people can enter.

yes the dead line on the tapes will be September 1st
A video of sick stuff, wakeskating, hanging out, resume, we will come up with some rules later this week.

that_mn_kid, I have a friend that makes videos. I will talk to him about making them in to a big wakeskate dvd. And online would be awesome.

i herd something somewhere is that copywritten music isnt a problem unless its like produced in a mass quantity. Like there are a certain amount of copies you have to be producing until you have to worry about anything. Even then i think you can just say who the artist is and their record label ect and they probably wouldnt care or for that matter even see it.

With regards to copywrite, If you are making ANY profit from using copywritten music or anything, then you must clear it with the relavent people, or pay royalties. My advise to the wwsa would be to try and hook up a deal with a small indi' label near to you. Try to let them see that they get free exposure for their artists, and you get a sick soundtrack to your flick. job done, peace

Don't mean to be a beach or anything, but it's copyrighted, not copywritten.

Not that it matters or anything, I just hate hearing people say that.

haha k thanks for the tip i dunno i just sorta type i never really proofread what i wrote unless i i think i totaly botched it. But ill be sure copyrighted from now on. haha thanks Very Happy
