You have made it to the vert finals! You make your way to the top of the speed ramp, your nervous and the sweat from your forehead is stinging your eyes, you kick a little then go down the ramp the lip of the ramp coming at you faster and faster.

You get massive air, you grab mute and tweak it right out taking one foot off you spin 540. The crowd goes wild as you land it cleanly. You look up, the vert walls tower over you with great speed you make your way up, again you grab mute except this time you lean forward come around 540 you decide you have enough air to do another 180, the crowd again screams as you have made a McTwist 720.

You travel back down with not as much speed but still enough, nollie double heel flip to stalefish, your run is nearly to an end. Its all or nothing now, you might have enough speed you dont know but you go anyway. With the biggest ollie you can muster you grab nose you spin the fastest you ever have 540... 720... 900... You have just made it with Tony Hawk, one of the biggest people in skating. But what is this? You are still a few foot off the coping and your body isn't going to stop spinning you come around spot your landing and let go from your nose just in time stomping it nice and cleanly.

Your mind is blank, you know the crowd is screaming yet you can't hear them. The competition is yours, subconciously you bust out a Gymnast Plant. You hop off the half pipe, your shaking, nervous and your legs can barely hold your weight. You approach the podium with the biggest grin on your face, 2nd and 3rd are applausing and you hop on to first to accept your prize!

i dunno ive skated i think a 7 or 6 ft ramp before and i jsut dont like how you dont have as much freedom with your tricks. its jsut going up one side and then the other. with street you can dos tairs gaps ledges rails.

Well street gets very boring aswell. its the same old thing really. Same stair set. Same ledge. Seriously, once I've seen one bloke go down a stair set I've seen them all.

ya good point but i dunno i jsut like street better. basically its jsut preference and where u can skate. there basically rnt any vert rapms within an hour from me but heres a nice little street spot 2 minuetes awya from me.
