new winch gap

this thanksgiving break my cousin theleprechaun came down with his grinch. We scouted out a few spots but ultimately ended up hitting this beautiful dam.

Heres some vids- The top level was a little low so it was like a foot and a half ollie to get over the dam which made it a little sketchy but enough with the excuses here is me crashing.

Good post kyle!
The gap is called St Cecilia's (for the church/school nearby) and its in Clearwater on the main road out to the beach. Credit for finding it and first attempt to hit it goes to Chad Thompson aka headhunter. We went out there a few months ago around septemberish and got busted really quick. Then I went out there with Red Bull and their winch and Jimmie Walker set up the meeting and took pictures for FL Wake and for Red Bull. Anyways just figured I'd fill in some history on the gap, and if anyone is wondering- the only tricks done on it so far are an ollie, fs 180, switch ollie and a bs shuv it....

Ben Caruso, nice, thanks for the info.. we're taking the winch local to get some tune up runs and make sure everything is working alright, and we'll probably try to hit this gap later this afternoon.

Ya i dont think ill be around to come hit it man but hope you have fun or if you already hit it i hope you had fun. I know i probly dont need to say it but just try to respect the area and what not so that this spot isnt ruined.

buenos, i doubt it's weak if there's only been 3 tricks thrown on it so far.. sadly we didnt get to hit it because the masterlink on the chain broke on the winch..

buenos, I'm not sure if your serious or not, but I would not put that gap under the "weak ass" category. You must be familiar with the Metrowest gap- it is well known & very popular with a lot of wakeskaters (try watching In Its Travels) and not categorized as 'weak ass.' Anyways this gap is at the very least way gnarlier than Metrowest and definately deserves more reverence than your heathen slang reference and your typographical errors.

But if you were kidding- right on.
