im not going to discreadit thesse folks.....but then agian im probably compairiiing this sport to welll astablished sports like skateboardinig and bmx. The advertisement of enjury isn't "cool" just do what you do....and im sure dallas friday waasn't like dude say i had a back injury and like i said once im saying agian these people are badass athletes and i look up to them......i am merely saying that the media needs to re-evaluate stuff and not be afraid to appeal to specifics.....like wakeskateers alkdf;akdfafjlkajf;lkdjslksjaflk....all im saying is stop advertising injuries and suport advancement.....(but you guys are supporting it so.....illl jusst to kill myse.....others)

revcon, what's your problem? NOrmally, I don't mind you, but I think this is in poor taste, considering she just shattered her femur and ended up in the ICU due to complications with her lungs. you're bad ass...

If the media needs an angle, they'll find it. There's no need to blame the riders for it...at least not this.

Sounds very serious to me and hopefully she'll be able to recover fully.

"Dallas landed wrong and shattered her femur, also known as the thigh bone. The on-site medical team pulled her out of the water and she was rushed to Changi General Hospital.

During surgery to repair her leg, Dallas had a plate attached and bone from her hip was used to repair the femur. However, complications arose when Dallas started having difficulty breathing and fluid was found in her lungs. She was immediately admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit and a tube was placed in her throat to help her breathe.

Although Dallas remains in critical condition, she is slowly improving. They used a scope to remove fluid from her right lung, which has more fluid in it than the left. She is now breathing 50% on her own. All her neurological responses appear fine and the doctors are encouraged by her response to treatment thus far.

Dallas' father, Robin Sr., and brother, Robin, are at her bedside. Robin was in Singapore when the accident occurred and Robin Sr. flew out immediately after hearing about Dallas' injury. Dallas is heavily sedated, but has shown a response to her father's voice."
