Snowboarding @ Mammoth Mountain: 6/22/2006

Was f****** sick!

The Pipe was really good until the end of the day, but even then it was still fun. they had three rails, flat box, up box to gap to down box, double pipe rail, and a tri-kicker (three differnt kickers made next to eachother that share the same landing.) so much fun.

They are open until July 4th and I plan to make it back before they close Very Happy

It's 4.5 hrs from stockton but worth it. July snowboarding in California

Let me just ad another post......there is nothing better than wearing sun tan lotion while snowboarding.........Honestly, that is one of my most farotie things...... Sick dude!!! Wish I was there.

jonnyUTAH, dude, make it out to Mammoth before July 4th and you can !! haha. I'm planning on going next weekend. after that i'll be doing some high elevation hiking 11k or as high up there as i can get to do more riding/camping. then after that i'll prob head up to oregon.. hopefully i wont have to stop snowboarding for the summer!

btw, it's ridiculously hard to find snowboard wax around here in the summer Laughing

marshk344, the air was around 80, but over the snow it felt more like 65. It was a shock to walk off the snow onto the hot pavement after we rode all day.
