Today I went to the PWT here in Texas and was talking to Jim Laetherman and he said the baords should be in shops in about 2 weeks. I saw the boards and trust me theres nothing be alrmed about. Instead of having the ply's exposed theres almost like a fiberglass coat over them. I will get some pictures tomorrow when i'm there for the finals.

che blanc, yeah i understand their reasoning for it but the problem is they probably lost customers who didnt wanna wait....i mean maybe they were lousy customers anyways....but i wouldnt wanna lose out on sales and they probably have (yes i understand they are doing good and all....im just saying)

seven11dmd, that kind of situation has a catch 22 for any company. Do you ship out your less-than-satisfactory boards in order to please the customer, and maintain sales, while risking the damage that could be done by shipping out boards that people may end up complaining about (word of mouth hurts)? Or do you wait, lose sales and money, while waiting for a product that should hopefully be dope and of a high quality? I like the idea of waiting...I think it shows that they (a general they) care about their product and they want to send out something that they will be proud of.

Hpdvs, was that coating the stuff that was supposed to make the graphics sublimated? I remember reading that they were supposed to be using this poly-something coating that was supposed to protect the deck. Or maybe they had to change the design and use something else.
