pond wakeskating in missouri yesterday

Hey everybody. I'm from missouri and weve had a lot snow over january but yesterday it went from like 30 degrees to about 70. So i was sitting at school and i thought we should go wakeskating in one of my friends pond and get pulled by a truck on a road right next to it. It was awesome, even though some of the pond was actually frozen ice it was still awesome. we got some video and pictures i will see if i can edit the video down and post it or some pictures. the pond was perfect it made for about a good 45 sec run. but if anyone else has done this tell me about it so we can have some tips for next time.

i live in osage beach at the lake of the ozarks. Also supposedly (i caNT SPell) there is a thing in the news paper called summer fest down here june 5th and 6th i think. It says 76 riders and some bands for like a wakeboard festival down here at the lake so if you live up in kansas city or anywhere around missouri i will try to keep you up to date on the situation. we found out a couple weeks ago and we cant wait. we kind of know the guy putting it on so we are gonna try to work the contest or whatever but i will keep you up to date.

Ive done that before. I went behind a car on a wakeboard though. The pond was only about a foot to 3 feet deep. You would be going down the pond and snag a rock and fly forward.

Yea michael is the guy whos dad owns the pond and he thought it was badass what we were doin.
still trying to get the pics up.

and me and michael have watched the invisible cinema commentary about a thousand times . Has anyone else? cause it is the funniest thing ever.

oh yeah ....i fell! it was awesome and really really really cold. i tried to lean back and do one of those "manual, tail press, lean way back thingys" and i also tried to kick out the nose, so it was angled...and the board slipped out cause i have no fins and havent ridden in 4 months. i cant wait til its summer and i get to fall all the time and cant use the excuse of not riding....then my only excuse is that i suck
