I just ordered the new Reed and ive never riden anything but hyperlite Crying or Very sad (which sucks on wakeskates by the way). ive had and 04 byerly, 05 Karma, an 06 Byerly. The 06 wasnt horrible but im pretty sure theres better out there. What can i expect out of the Reed? Better? or worse?

You can expect the Reed to fall apart in a matter of days. It seems all the new LF decks are compressed sawdust, with a few decent layers of wood. It will fall apart quickly if you ride a lot.

The new LF's get my vote as the worst made decks this year, they are just total pieces of garbage (durability wise). I hear the ride well though, so enjoy it while it lasts!

show me proof of this.. Ive ridden my deck, along with 4 other of my friends that have used my board and its holding up fine, no signs of falling apart at all.

I'm personally not a huge fan of LF at all. Im just a HUGE A. Reed fan. I heard it felt like a Bi-level and the shape was totally different than most other skates so i figured id blow some $ and try it out.

RC, the reed is not totally different. its a 4-trac thats an inch wider and the concave is dished out a bit more
