thats just stuff, and as u could see, i flick off the camera after i do it. i just thought things could have been delt with differently. i have NOTHING against the cassette riders or their people. i just want them to know that. and i hope for this up coming pro tour, that it will be fun and no imature stunts to anyone.

if miles threw a beer at me i would've knocked some teeth out. that's total disrespect torwards a rider. if he wants to do oles, do 500 of them in one run if you want. thats his choice. miles said it was making wakeskating look bad. i hate to say it but if miles is soo good why didnt he compete last yr, what had he done for the sport to make it look so good? chase did a good job and keep up the good work on the video Smash

Before I go on, I'd like to state that I'm not trying to condone myles' beer wasting stunt. Now that that's out of the way...

Who said that competing in contests is THE way to push wakeskating? Just because myles didn't do the pro wakeboard tour doesn't mean he hasn't done anything for wakeskating. Do you kids have hotdoggin? I reckon he had the first frontside bigspin on film. Secondly, he's a pretty creative rider from what I've seen--I quite like his little dock slide start thing at the end of sfumato. Yes, things could have gone in a different direction, but I guess that's myles. From what I can tell, many people out there want wakeskating to progress towards a skate style of riding and not some sort of old school wakeboarding trick-style-thing and that's why they dislike ole's. Quite frankly, I don't like the trick either but I'm not about to tell someone how to ride for my benefit. I suppose this is similar to what wakeboarding went through. You know, the trick ski purists vs. the grungy snow/skate inspired riders. Each side wanted it to go their way--of course, we all know who "won" out in the end...

Anyway, I wanted to bring a different perspective in here. Just because you don't ride in a contest doesn't mean you suck and I think it's a lousy argument. Not everyone likes to compete on the pro wakeboard tour...
