How do you get your music? I prefer to stream from various online radio stations while I'm at work. Mainly from PureDJ.com.

Do any of you use a service like Rhapsody??

I either listen to CD's at a store on campus, or download from Ares. But if I like a CD I'll just buy it instead of burning it.

I usually listen to my own cd's to proof them. If I'm not doing that I won't play any music at all so that I don't get myself trapped on the computer all day.

I used to do the same thing when I was DJ'ing on a regular basis. I would drive everyone crazy that rode in my truck with me for any extended period of time unless they liked music without any words. Now I listen to talk radio while driving. I sure have gotten boring.....

Dude, I listen to talk radio too so don't feel bad. I can't stand the radio. It's sooo redundant. Talk radio keeps me interested. Do listen to any of Orlando's Real Radio shows?

While I'm online, I really like to listen to web radios cause it offers you 'diversity'.
Each time I check a radio portal I find new stations around the world, with no ads, no news flashes, no blablabla, and incredible good music you would never hear on MTV.
btw: I used to be a DJ too, but not on a regular basis... Laughing

If anybody wants a cd just pm me and I'll get it to you asap. Just tell me what style you like and I can see what I can do. I don't have very much jungle or hip hop but if you llike Florida breaks, trance or progessive house just let me know.
Peace through beats

After making a cd, I will go back a listen to it to make sure it's good enough to put out. If not then I will either re-do or correct the cd. When I work on the computer I like to listen to my cd's because I normally spend a hour or two getting what I need done. (just trying to save sometime) Good question.

www.tranceaddict.com -good site for trance and some house....its not streaming but it has a lot of good stuff for free that you can save. one thing that this site has, that i find really impressive, is there choice of actual DJ sets.....they have live dj sets on there that you can save and burn.... another site is www.streetbeatrecords.com im not sure if they still have their free streaming service up, but they had a fairly good selection last time i was there
