that was pretty tight. Is fighting alowed in hockey, like whats the rules

hammer49, fighting is illegal but they let them fight instead of just hacking at someones face with there stick. Pro hockey it is a five minute major penelty for fighting. In youth hockey and high school its a pretty big penalty.

yeah I play HS hockey and for like a true fight, you will normally get kicked out. if you just throw one or two punches they normally let it slide and put you in the box.

This past season I got some hits in on Johnny Bench's (retired Cincinnati Red's catcher) son. Felt pretty good to know I hit the son of a legend. Smash

Jonesie, thats wat im talking about, at my h.s. we hasd a couple of legnds/pro's sons and one is literally considered retarted but can function and the other one is cool but u still gotta hate the fact that no matter wat they will have money lol

im one of the few people that can say theyve played organized ice hockey in the state of lousisiana, i only played until 6th grade or so being from lousisiana kindda put me obligated to play high school football but yeah they used to let us fight a lot more than expected but i think it was cuz it was when we were too little to actually hurt each other
