seven11dmd,
You must be looking at the wrong deck. suggested retail price on those decks is $189.99, so it is unlikely that any shop would have them listed higher than that.

Dave Barousse, guess i was looking at the control...which i dont see any difference in between that an the impulse, besides the foam instead of grip?

Yo Matt. That board rides soo good, I tore it down when I rode it. Bad thing is we broke it in one weekend. It was Justins, and maybe his luck wore off on it. The shape is really good like a kampus K series but with concave, I wish I had one and that it would last a long time. I can't afford to support these "rider owned companys". Plus I don't really like the way any of their shapes ride exept kampus and I'm tired of waiting for them to make a concave k- series.

i own the impulse and i'm very happy with it. had it for probably a month or so and it hasnt warped. it has a thick white outer coating of like paint or something that is i guess supposed to protect the board. it's real thick though, and it chips along the side like the second time you ride it. it's chipping pretty bad now, there's whole chips of it out of the bottom of the deck, but it doesnt effect the ride and i've been hitting rails and docks with it. the board pops like a blackcat and its a good weight, which i think is real important. plus it's a great price for such a good concave wood deck and where i bought it (performance ski and surf in orlando), there's a one year warranty as long as you don't slide it. anyway, hope this helps.
