has anybody every tried using a bike rack as a rail if so how did it work?

i havent, but i think it would be pretty hard to float. Or it would have to be in really shallow water. i dont think it would work too well

i have only ever used a bike rack for snowboarding to jib...thats about it, it would be pretty hard to get it to float!

Nah, the idea's not too shabby, but I am assuming you would just have to put the rail on the bottom in a super shallow area. It would be a pretty short rail, but hey if you rip that baby off we're talking about a free pre-fabricated rail. Nicht Schlect.

i would just put in shallow water and put some sandbags on it we have some 50 foot long ones at the local schools but i have no clue how i could get that to the water.

david legler- i watched it and it looks like a bike rack. it might just be a regular bar they put in there.

u could do it w/ the winch in shallow water or have it on land w/ a deep puddle or somethin crazy, who knows what will happen when that things out

thatd b sweet 2 have a comp like in the middle of a huge city w/ the winch in like some lil pond or fountain in a park or somethin crazy, think how many people could come see wakeskating if someone did that, some1 should get on that
