i was watching TV today and saw people build hovercrafts in a contest, i think it was on mythbusters. but any way im going to taqke my old scape and make a hoverskate with a couple of leaf blowers adn a tarp.

it should work, and if not, ill make it work somehow, but would it work on water too?

i think it would work very shallow water like say 1-3 inches or so. but i doubt it would work in deep water unless those leaf blowers are pretty strong

yeh the gay pink one doesnt work. remember they said "hoverboards dont work on water". the reason the bulldog did was cause it had little rocket jet thingys.

if you want it to work on water, you would have to get a solid skirt for it, like a tube for a tire wrapped around. if you do successfully make a small, not very heavy hoverboard, that would be really cool. just imagine like running down the street, and turning it on then acid dropping down a hill and just shredding on pure weightlessness. me and my brother built a hover craft once, it was a circle, probably 6 feet wide. we used a vaccum cleaner and reversed the fan. it worked pretty well, except we had no way of propelling it, and when we did push it, the cord got pulled out of the wall Very Happy

for the most part it would be really easy to make one to run on land, and grass, but water... would take alot more work. would suck if you fell though, you would have to like strap a cord around your waste like on treadmills so it will stop wheny ou fall or else it would go flying into the air

I think it would work really well on a surface like a basketball court or something but if u did it on concrete...ud have to have some serious blowers...and some really tough sheet material so it wouldn't get messed up...but if somebody did put some real r and d into one of these...it woud be sick...even though you couldn't hit any kickers or rails or anything on em....umm i think

wow...i just had a crazy thought...what if some company made some good boards like these and then set up parks where the floor blew air to...like a air hockey table...so then you would have the board the floor blowing against each other...and then they set up all kinds of kickers and stuff that also blew air...that would be SICK...dammit im not gonna be able to sleep tonight
