E-Snow, these were at/with the shop long before I started working here. wakemitch might know more on the history of them since he had this job before I did.

They're rad! A shop in Fremont has one also. All I can say those boards are from 1996...so they're almost 20 years old, which is actually hard to believe. I love stuff like that! Liquid force sold benches a long time ago and I bought one made of second generation trips...so I think that's from 2001 or so.

I have no idea where the benches come from, but people always used to comment on them. They are definitely sweet

the only way I see it playing out is with kryptonite, which will be the easiest way.

I just would like to see it play out next year. I have an idea on the plot.

jboss, I am not a Saints fan or an American and that choked me up.
I remember that and was thinking, why is George Bush not helping these people and how is this city ever going to recover.

I also remember the first game played in New Orleans after that and getting choked up hearing Green Day play some song about the Saints. It really is a great story about human preserverance.

I think the redirects have value to ed. When you google wakeskating it's one of the top 5 results.

Also, this is damn cool history. How did people feel about sfumato when it came out? how about discussions about the first 360 flip on a wakeskate? How juiced were people for the early integrity drops? Its all on here and it will never feel like that again. It is really neat to hear folks on the wakeskate wednesday podcast talk about their connection to this site. And marcus mentioned the site a number of times on the PWL live feed. I have a great appreciation for my time on here, and I think a lot of other people have similar gratitude for the information and riding friends they've made from this site.

electricsnow, Well put Esnow, this site has a deep connection with wakeskating history and It connected alot of the pros together, if there was no wakeskating.com i feel that wakeskating today would look very different.

long live wakeskating.com. I still from time to time go back and revisit old threads. It definitely serves as a time capsule at the very least.

btw, very stoked you listen to the podcast, we have some new things up our sleeves that will hopefully come to fruition in the future, one being that we need to have a discussion with you sometime... HMU

Lucky for us.. I've got enough to keep the websites going for as long as I want. Not much these days in wakeskate related sales but that is fine. I do feel that there is so much history in the database that it is worth keeping it live.
