They have money for nothing and battle falls well - those are the two stops posted on the website --> thewakeskatetour.com

do you think wakeskate would get more popular if more pros visited local cable parks?

Most people only see wakeboarding and then lets say if i go out the cable - im not that good so people do not see the potential of wake skating. Back home in vero beach the beach break would be basically shore break so it was good for skimboarding; however, for a decent amount of time it was not popular until a kid became pro in the area and started to become popular and a lot of kids started to want to skimboard because they saw what could be done on the shore break so they started to skimboard too instead of just surfing.

Similarly, at wake zone cable park I and a few others were the only wake skaters out there. but when a local pro wakeboarder --------, started wake skating alot of other wakeboarders got boards and started wake skating occassionally to and competed in the points chase.

I say this because more wake skaters at the local cables would possible mean more interest in the wake skate tour.

edit: local pro wakeboarder - started to wake skate, other wakeboarders started wakeskating too.

I think that would be a killer thing. I'd watch for sure.

My favs right now.

The book of John j.
John Jackson snow series more episode/video parts in there than just blog

Colton haaker
Endurocross champ

Ali clarkson

Flight test
Build anything flying RC , they made a cardboard tail spin plane

Mr Steele
Fpv drone racer vlog

Smarter everyday

People are blowing up these niche interest all over YouTube.

Bt has a few episodes.
The issue is continually putting up footage. I think if it was even a series to start would be cool.

Anywho I hope anyone who makes it to the stops this year just keeps a camera rolling for the rest of us.[/youtube]

I'd probably pick Nick Taylor or any South African regardless of skill level bc the SA's have a super unique wild awseome culture so different then the US and they all shred,,, maybe i should search for more wakeskaters instagrams and other social media im really bad at searching and finding that shiz and mostly bc I literally use no social media as it negatively impacted my life and wasted my time in the past haha,,, but im guilty of watching other action sports vloggers on youtube,,, some can get seriously annoying though,,, but some are fun to watch

----any wakeskater who travels the world outside the US should be vloggin,,, we want to share your worldy experiences too!!!

--bottom line is that if a WSer wants to gain more attention to themselves, their sponsors and there sport the best way to is with YOUTUBE vlogs,,, youtube is the most public platform
-also someone eventually going to do it,, but who's going to be first??? all it takes is some balls (not being shy, but outgoing and positive) , a camera , and ten minutes to edit and upload that shiz on youtube

- i can totally relate why ppl don't want to do it though because it has a stigma of being self absorbed and can be embarassing to draw attention always carrying and talking to a camera,,, but really your not doing it for the extra attention your doing it to share experiences with your fans and what not,,, im sure tons of positive support from the community would get rid of any negative stigma it may have,,,, anyway its weird to be a 20th century man ,, i try to spend as much time in nature as possible and look at a screen as little as possible,,, but that shiz would be fun to watch when bored

I'd like to see them all do it. I cut out cable so youtube series, hulu, and netflix are all the entertainment I watch. Having someone doing this content for wake would be cool.

David does a good job here taking a viewer through the winch mission
I guess Ive never thought about how little people would comprehend about the process. I miss the winch sessions. They did a good job wiht that too.

Seadoo tick tips done like this. Pros and Joes working on a trick

And I think any wakeskater that did this would also have a better editing and camera setup than 90% of the vlog content out there

WS-VLOGS I would watch

CLEM - pure entertainment factor would be off the charts

DG - outreach would hit all wake communities, plus he gets around

AndyP - well idk that andy has enough words to vlog. maybe just a silent vlog lol with tons of riding , random art edits, and whatnot , I just miss wednesdays with WM

Nick - hits all the great spots, shreds, edits great content already

BEN - Our very own Jeff King of wakeskating, Ben to shred. Skate DIY and Water - possibly the most informative channel

Randy Dobbins.
(think fictional character that rips but also is a joke personality)

Joey Mac and Ronnie Mac are great examples of a ripper fictional characters.

What I do notice about Colton Haaker and ROnnie Mac's channel is they are run on a retailers account.

So Ambush Board Co having a youtube page and uploading the episodes would work well for them and the rider. Or Buywake, Or whoever is your best connection.

Man has the WST thread gone into the woods.

Good choices, and sick videos.

Perhaps, I would have to say maybe Daniel Grant or Austin Pastura. I enjoy watching wake skaters riding cable over winching or boat. One it sits home with me seeing that I dont have a boat nor a winch. Since lack of wake skaters at the cable park, I enjoy watching riders especially when they are riding cable... like Austin gets cabled, and second home, and DG wake skate videos.

POPTART, are you referring to like the pro wakeskaters having better cameras?

skim2live, I think they have better film/edit experience than the average new vlogger. So I would assume that their content would be better in general than the progression of a vlogger that needs about a year to figure out how to make an entertaining edit.

skim2live, I agree about Austin and Andrew Pastura, It would be really fun to watch because they skateboard a lot and are exceptionally good at that as well. I feel like it would always be an adventure with them.

POPTART, Ya and actually surprised that there is not a lot of new wakeskating type footage available via youtube, especially since the go pro. I know I have been meaning to take out this new go-pro like camera which i bought from this chinese store site for like 5-10 dollars. It looks fine, and when it loads up on the display... it says gopro - imagine that. An actual one is so expensive.

Like you said though, the editing process takes time and they would be able to do a better job. I wonder if contracts could limit them from personal video (I dont know why it would). Do they want to keep there new tricks secret?

-=AlexXx=-, for sure, I like their style. It is pretty neat the video by water monsters second home and the fact that like of pro wake skaters got to stay in the Philippines for some time. I dont know how they make money though.

--

The drone footage was nice at the contest. perhaps later, the filmers will do a compilation of the footage.

Vlogging is WAY to mainstream for Wakeskaters man.

Were way to cool for that.

Shits for lame bros and wankers.
