For anyone who cares, remote put their new hats on their website, including a rad bucket hat that I will own. Getting all preachy for just a minute; I think it's really important to support the brands that support wakeskating...which ever ones you believe in. If you can't buy a board, the soft goods and accessories are another way to support a brand.

You know, maybe buy a watermonsters handle too?? IDK OMGGG! How are there not already 60 wakeskaters who either want a mainline combo or just a handle?? (30 of each were made) I just looked at their site and there are only two board models left--that's a good thing!!

But seriously...I think it's important. Weird aside, I like looking at shops that sell wakeskates, and right now I'm not even seeing any on buywake. When I search wakeskate on their site, I get a wakesurfer. This is the shop that collaborated with DVS with the first wakeskate shoes, and with remote to release the limited horan; they also sponsored ben and danny. I don't know what's up and maybe that will change...all of that going on just makes me feel like it's important to support brands if you want to see them stick around.

electricsnow, yeah there was a surprising lack of product in 16 out there. I can't even pick a skate up locally. I also just had to retire my obscura handle. Sadly I didn't pick up a wm handle, just bc I like a wider grip (idk I'm old fashioned that way). I am loving my new WM skate tho. I like that there is new stuff on their site but skates, handles, jackets, and shoes are more of what I would like to see out there.

I just wish I could buy a pair of nike's from the remote site or wm site. ( since they are so committed to the wake scene) they should let these guys make 40 bucks a pair off people like me to fund "thank you" edits.

I don't have an option to get anything like that locally anymore.

Used to be a day I could walk into 3-5 local shops and pick up any brand skate and even a pair of Byerly reefs!

My Nike Ws shoes are dead, one of my Dvs Casette shoes ran away, i destroyed the obscuras in like 2 rides Rolling Eyes and now I have to resort to a backcountry.com/ccs/actionvillage discount bin

You know every now and then when on the road I swing in a Nike outlet and find last years brattas, or mavk low's (the best imo) super cheap, that would be killer if they could offer the last year closeouts in like a bargain bin (winch shoes!)

I absolutely love the WM handle. The smaller size is so nice.

I was also lucky enough to get a new remote hat at expo. I can't wait to pick up some new stuff

Rad wakemitch! And that's all good to hear. I definitely didn't intend to start this to have it be a debbie downer fest or an airing of grievances (that's what festivus is for). (and how do I never learn my lesson?) I guess the point is to try and support wakeskating if you can. I remember being really psyched on ordering cassette shirts right from those dudes, and I ordered mutiny tees when it was erich and randy. it's still the same--you're buying right from the dudes who are trying to make stuff happen.

Yeah, Andrew handled my last order with WM, Silas was awesome with my Remote order and Erich has been solid with my Integrity orders. I don't ride wm or remote but I has always felt like I should support the good people in this industry

I don't think it's weird because I"m not spinning a 720. Honestly, that's close to what wakeboard handles used to be like. They lengthened because of the big time money booter spins.
