In almost every circumstance where your board isn't sliding very well it helps. If you feel your board is sticky at the cable park wax will definitely help if you rub some on your flat spot/nose or tail if you're locking in.

Trex already slides really well with the majority of boards. Just make sure it's wet before hitting it. If you're still sticking it is probably an issue with your board and it's base than with the rail or the lack of wax. If that trex isn't slippery enough though wax on your board or the rail will definitely make it more slick.

If you are still having issues even after wax it's probably your weight distribution when hitting the rail.

well I watched the coalition movie and they put that shizzle on everything Laughing

wondered if it helped ty land his skate to dirt or if he just lives full beast mode

my new wm feels slower on my trex much more so than the plastic features at the cable, but idk if slow is better or not, its is just not as fast as the ol' signature Ive been hitting them with

Someone made the same comment about their southern wakeskate. But there are tons of dudes shredding the crap out of those blank mfg boards.

POPTART, Yeah it's just the change in base material. Your signature was a very slick grind base the new WM and Southerns are just different bases. Not necessarily bad just not as slick, and in my opinion I'd rather have the board be less slick than more slick like the signature or old integritys. You can always add wax to get it slicker, but you can't really make your board stickier in a way that doesn't compromise the ride of the board.

Those new WM are a solid board and slide okay. It will just take some getting used to and maybe use some wax.

..And yeah that new coalition movie was heavy! The valdosta crew are legends!

I'm not sure its a bad thing or needs time to get slicker or that its keeping me from doing anything.

I am just saying the matte is slower. And they are probably not using Yankee Candle Lavender Relation.
And ty kills it.

But they say that a golfball is more aero bc of the dimples, sharks are rough, and buttered poptarts always land icing side out so....

What type of wax is it? Surf Wax, Injection molding jewelry wax, ear, candle, eyebrow, museum, snow, car?

I and most other people I know use gulf wax. Which is like a paraffin/canning wax.

The new WM base (and I assume remote/southern) is much slower than I'm used to. But every board slides different and you figure it out.

POPTART, Valdosta is a must see. The place and crew out there are incredible. They are some the most hospitable group of dudes who just love wake and are stoked on everything. It's impossible not to have a good time there.
