Terminus yesterday.

Deck has seen Johnboat, Winch trex rails, and cable.

I really really like it.
Great pop, just enough weight, spins really easy and controllable. I think I have finally unlocked 3 shuvs.

The grind base is a soft matte finish, it was a bit sticky on the trex, but at the cable was fast on the plastic.

Nice POPTART!

Stoked you like the board! It took me a couple sets to feel it out, but now it's definitely one of my favorite wakeskates. Had a blast on it this summer!

I'm really stoked on them being just a bit lighter than past years' boards.

knox, Thanks Bud.

I haven't connected with a deck this fast, I have been riding my friends TAO 41, my Zissou 41 , the signature 39, and my 39wm and got on this new skate and it was like my feets new best friend. In the first week of riding it , (although its a small number) I have landed everything in my bag.
So now onto new stuff. Trew a couple tries at a back big, front bigger, and even working on trying to get those ollie norths legit so i can follow them into flip maneuver land.

And if the new remotes and southerns are similar then all of these new skates should be killer!

Ugh my dudes its nice to be this pumped on wakeskating still Smash Smash

That's a good looking board. that concave looks just about perfect, my feet wanna give it a go. The sidewalls don't look so tall that it might get locked on an edge carving. decisions decisions

looking at a new skate pickup hopefully. Looking for 40-40.5”. Came back across this conversation. Can anyone compare a new Watermonster to a Moonshine Remote? (Circa 2012-2014.
Also, are the new watermonsters wide enough for a size 12 shoe?

Its a softer edge profile than the older remotes, also much lighter

I think the closest thing out there to the older remotes would be one of the virtue/project or a Grain wakeskate.

Ill get a pic of my buddy wearing a size 13 on that WM for you this weekend.

This years watermonsters are definitely wider through the nose and tail, its a great shape, but I cant compare it to the older remotes as I have never ridden one, but physically they are thinner, (not as thin as the current remotes) and also lighter, personally for me i think its a great weight. Not to heavy, not to light.

I have last year’s wm and this year’s, so I could take some pics in a few days. I haven’t ridden these; I mainly ride a 3013 lecomte. My impression is the “blank” produced decks have some added weight from the first go around. But again, I can post pics and let you see some of the board yourself.

Ha! That’s hilarious Frye, because the joke is I’m always a few years behind. I think I was on a cassette bi-level until 2010? I thought I’d ride that board forever. Also, not catching my typo, I thought you were making fun of me for being on a 5 year old board. And the hover board part made sense because it’s a thicker wakeskate. Laughing

I didn’t measure anything for feet, but there’s about a 1 pound difference between the 17 (10 pounds) and 18 (11 pounds) water monsters. Last year’s nick was probably something like 9.5 pounds. I didn’t weigh the 2016 nick, but that board is a bit lighter than 2017. You can see the base layer is more thin on the older nick board.

Also, sorry if these are huge.
