I'm really wanting to make a run down. I know most of you guys have been.

Where to go, eat, stay( I heard its camp friendly? )

Anyone else want to make the journey who has not been?

Can we get a WS.c group /rate/ party going?

I dont care to make it later in the year so everyone has plenty of time to get ready. Plus VWC year runs a bit longer than most peoples seasons.

I a not sure I just know it should happen.

You can camp on the VWC property or rent a bed from them. They have a dope trailer to stay in. Bring your own food or kill rabbits on the property there isnt much around that area.

Im down

I'm down to just camp it up.

I'm thinking as of now later in Sept-Oct?

What is the cost there? Is there like a multi-day pass deal?

I think you are underselling how fun it is to watch a wakeskate tour event.

I'd much rather go to a wakeskate tour stop and watch the guys shred a hand-built wakeskate specific set up than ride a cable, albeit a sick cable.

Just go more than one once. Go to camp and ride, come back for the tour stop. Maybe even come early for the tour stop and shred before heats start or after they finish. There is down time at the events.

Not saying that at all. For me, because of how far it is and how hard it would be to make the voyage I would have make it a selfish trip and go just for the riding. I have been to watch an event, and it is super awesome, good vibes, sick riding, great opportunity. I just have to pick between riding and watching, and I would rather ride than watch. I would also love some time on the GAP, I know it might be possible to get some while the event is there but I would prefer to be there mid-week to a weekend and have everything open and low key.

Understandable, definitely wouldn't want to pass up an opportunity to ride the set up if you can.
