nick its hit or miss with the speed. If the majority of the people in line are kind of asking for a faster pull and its not all beginner wakeboarders they will bump the speed up.
I just want to clarify I have no issues with cable riding (other than a long walk back ) its just frustrating riding that much slower than your normal speed and feeling nervous about hitting an ollie up to a box cause you can barely pop off the water.
If anything I feel bad for the wakeboarders boosting off the kicker and landing with zero speed, that must be hell on their knees.
As for the POV videos, this is one of my favorite and makes me want to go ride.
Steven M, so weird you posted that. I made Kyle play Homeless today just to watch Ben and Brandon's part. First time I've seen that part in 2 years and now that song just came on again.

nick,
You have a good point that perhaps its just the people that I have seen POV footage from. My frustration with the angle is that most of the time it doesn't seem to do a lot of tricks (wakeskating stunts) justice, for example how popped something was or maybe just a better veiw of the entire person/location for the trick (wakeskate stunt) Im not only interested in what the board and x man's feet are doing.
Now that you mention it though there are a few people I would love to watch POV footage from I would just hate it to be encouraged too much you know?
When I originally entered into this conversation I had just watched a current web "edit" with pov footage in it... so I could have just been dizzy.
oh and as for snapchat, you wish your beard was blue!
First, it's not you guys, it wasn't my decision, i wouldn't ever post it. Second, if you care enough, send a message to ed to help him understand your expectations, because i know i've sent mine. I've changed the video and explained that no wakeskater is going to care about any video with wakeskating if you're promoting it with a wakeboarder. If wakeskaters are who you want to reach, there's no value added content with a wakeboarding video.
However, to play the devil's advocate, i understand promoting sets in motion as a whole (with the aforementioned wakeskate edit), given that oakley cared enough to support some of the ladies in wakeskating. Aside from this video, there's really nothing out there, and that includes the wakeskate tour videos.
Jake S, that's a pretty astute observation. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*

In our eyes "you guys" are wakeskating.com. And as hidden as it is, I think of you of as the face of wakeskating.com. Not some guy who bought it.
I've exchanged some lengthy PMs with Ed and I think you're forgetting the real issue. He can't pay for content because running the site is so expensive. So we get wakeboard videos and a donate button.

I didn't watch it but you're right, that is pretty cool. _________________ 407-212-7425
Why can't someone just repost everything that has anything to do with wakeskating to the site. It takes less than 5 minutes. Give me the password. I'll post crap and even write super cool captions like:
"Check out DjDrOp ToP! and his dreads to late shuvits and even see his lake dawgs rip too. - Wakeskater bro OUT"
I just googled wakeskating and this is the first site to pop up. If we want wakeskating to get more well known, liked, and understood, then shouldn't the most visited wakeskate website also be the most up to date? Just a thought. If we want our favorite wakeskaters and wakeskate companies to be able to do this and really get to their full poetential, then we should be supporting in every way possible and trying to expand it in the best way that we can. Some wakeskating.com specific interviews or little internet videos could be really cool if done right. Even just links to new videos on the wakeskate mag or alliance. I am sure that there are plenty of people willing to do that to support, and for the growth of wakeskating. Also don't forget to get new people into this thing! I feel like that is really over looked.
I hope that this isn't taken the wrong way by anyone that has to do with the website. Just a couple ideas by a kid that likes to wakeskate and wants to see it grow.
Travis B, understood. I don't always feel value in relation to the site for various reasons, but you helped me understand things differently. Thank you for that, and i will use your feedback. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*
