Wakekskating.com is looking for a new logo!!! So we have decided to run a contest to pick a new one. First place is we use your new logo and you will be cemented into wakeskating history (&possibly a new deck from boardstop.com still working out the details) Second place is a sweet nice try. Please email all entries to trevor@wakeskating.com . Send as many entry's as you like. Good luck !!!!!!!! _________________ I love water
I'm not saying i'd jump off a bridge if everyone else did, but i respect andrew pastura's opinion. If he feels like the logo needs an upgrade, i'm all for that and totally get where he's coming from.
I'm as traditional as anyone, but i'm all for this. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*

Listen, i just agree that a shuv indy doesn't exactly represent what's going on in wakeskating today. As far as any previous discussio is concerned, some upgrades would not be a bad thing. To borrow a term from another site user, the shuv indy dude is on the "kooky" side. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*
So lets take into account the progression of an action sport, like MX , surfing or skateboarding. There was a time when "the sport" was finding its self. Pushing to create an identity. Looking at every style, competition, product, and influence to direct the entirety of the sport. But after their initial rise and first lull, they decided to change things up. Tell people what was legitimate, what was kooky. But look at it now. The coolest thing you can do is have an old vintage bike, surfboard, or tiny pool deck.
Its just going to come back around to this in wakeskating. in 20 years we will still appreciate anyone getting out and doing some lip tricks and w2w shuv indys. I understand that its a kooky-ish logo ,but look at it this way. Remember when you made fun of your dad for wearing shin high socks and those short shorts? Now everyone rocks the 1980's dad look. Why jump to change something that is so young, we still have the ability to preserve the history and progression.
electricsnow, it might not represent going on now, but just because you ride a 2013 board doesn't mean you are going to get rid of your cassettes, there is a history that shouldn't be thrown away because its not cool now....then 10 years later your kicking yourself because you threw away the Kooky thing.
If it is changed to anything, it should be a silhouette of TH's first Kflip. _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco
I respect your point poptart, but i think change would be good. I thought it was a shuv indy off of a kicker, which makes it even worse to me. (sorry!) i am as nostalgic as anyone--i think more than most--and i'm for sure not suggesting we drop the color scheme that stirs just as many opinions. I just don't think the shuv indy will be wakeakating's retro "go to" move. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*
