i finished my first ever winch today. im super excited to try this bad boy out. long haul, should be worth it!
still will add wheels and splash guard but its ready to run as is!

I still need to add all the purchases up, I believe it was over 900 dollars tho. I didn't cut any corners, I bought the bigger engine, thicker chain, bigger frame metal, and made expenses everywhere in attempt to make a solid winch. so you could definitely make a cheaper winch, but the longevity should outway the upfront cost.

You have the right Idea my friend.

Build it once, the right way. So you don't have to fix anything later.
