Vero Beach and the Indian River area

Hi guys! I just moved down to Vero Beach from Oklahoma City - Wake Zone Cable park. I am looking for a pull, and a group that wakeskates in the surrounding area.

Also, any suggestions on making OWC or Ski Rixen my new home cable park.

zsparks, mccormicks is going to be too far to call your home cable.

I would check out rixen if I were you. but either way you are going to be driving a bit to get to a cable from vero beach. winch and ski, you'll find some guys to ride with.

Rixen sucks.. The lady that runs the office will make you jump through flaming hoops and belittle you the best she can then have you over pay for a few laps around the old carousel in which you'll get yelled at for doing tricks on the turns.. The blue barrel and rooftop are the only things worth it but winch or ski is your best bet.

I've heard the keys cable is decent and a cable in Miami recently opened but I haven't heard anything about it. Also Mullet, formerly of Mullet's Wake & Skate has had plans to open a new park. That got shut down by the man in Hobe Sound, but hopefully he'll have better luck in a neighboring community.

I'm now in Indialantic but I don't have a ride yet. I have been too consumed with surfing so I haven't thought about a boat. But soon enough I will.

Hey Cory! What's up? How does your bud like his new wakeskate?

I believe McCormicks is a 2 hour plus drive from Vero Beach. I do like McCormkcks a lot. If I head up there, I will definitely hit you up jdarr.

I will look into Rixen but what turns me off from them is no yearly pass. I guess I could just go ride at OWC.

I am definitely looking into the winch option.

Seaman, okay cool I do that too plus skim, but I am missing wakeskating. If I get a winch or I head up to OWC. I'll hit you up.

burn, sick man. You should try some shuvs onto the box. It is super easy. Good luck. I might fly up there for a week if the tickets are cheap enough.
